A little about me...

My first passion in life was music. As a child I sang, played the piano, oboe and recorder and my interests led me to begin a career in music. I studied at Clare College, Cambridge University, before training as a singer at the Royal Academy of Music in London and the Paris Conservatoire (CNSMDP).

For 15 years I enjoyed a dynamic and rewarding career as a performer, singing principal operatic roles with companies such as Scottish Opera, Opera North, Welsh National Opera, Berlin Staatsoper, Royal Danish Opera, and the Göttingen Handel Festival.

In 2003, I discovered Craniosacral Therapy (CST) through my singing teacher, Noelle Barker. During an intense period of work, my voice began shutting down inexplicably. CST provided a supportive, compassionate space where I could process the emotions and physical sensations affecting my voice. This therapy transformed my relationship with my body and mind, offering me inner calm, postural alignment, and reconnection to my essential self.

In 2015, I realized that my profession, though fulfilling in many ways, no longer aligned with my deepest sense of purpose. I felt called to step into a career where my innate sensitivity and abilities were valued as strengths rather than weaknesses.

This led me to study at the Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust in London, where I graduated in 2017. Through rigorous training, I gained hands-on skills, deepened my knowledge of anatomy, physiology, embryology, trauma resolution, and developed a holistic understanding of the mind-body connection.

In learning to listen to others deeply, I have continued to learn to listen to myself. I lived with low-level anxiety for much of my life and with the support of CST and talk therapy have worked through the pre-verbal trauma that was at the root of these feelings. These experiences have opened a new chapter of life, bringing calmness and a deeper understanding of myself.

Outside of my professional life, I find joy and peace in nature, playing the piano and oboe, and knitting - simple pleasures that connect me to creativity and stillness.

To further enrich my practice, I have trained in:

Compassionate Inquiry with Dr. Gabor Maté (2023) - A therapeutic approach that explores the emotional and psychological roots of well-being with curiosity and compassion.

Breathwork at the Bedfordshire Centre for Therapeutic Studies (2024) - Focused on using conscious breathing to regulate the nervous system, facilitate emotional release, and deepen healing.

Co-Active Coaching (2024) - A powerful, client-centered coaching approach that supports self-discovery, personal growth, and meaningful action.

I also draw on my Buddhist practice (Tibetan lineage), which informs my work with a foundation of mindfulness, compassion, and presence. This allows me to hold space with deep care, patience, and non-judgment, helping clients feel truly seen and supported.

I am a registered Craniosacral Therapy practitioner, accredited by the Craniosacral Therapy Association (CSTA) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). I adhere to the highest standards of ethics, safety, and professional development, ensuring that my work is held to a standard of integrity and care.

My Approach

I believe in the wisdom of the body - its capacity to guide, to heal, and to hold deep knowing. Embodiment is at the heart of my work - helping people reconnect with themselves, not just through thought, but through felt experience. When we tune into the body’s intelligence, we step out of the noise of the mind and into a space of clarity, presence, and alignment.

I offer two distinct pathways into this deeper awareness:

• Coaching invites conscious engagement with how you think, act, and move through life. It’s about noticing patterns, clarifying choices, and aligning with what truly matters. Through conversation and exploration, coaching supports you in living in a way that feels more embodied, intentional, and fully your own.

• Craniosacral therapy, by contrast, works with the body’s innate capacity to settle, release, and restore balance. Using gentle touch, it allows for a different kind of awareness - one that isn’t shaped by words, but by sensation and deep nervous system regulation. CST offers a quiet space to listen, unwind, and experience yourself beyond the mind’s narratives.

While these approaches are distinct, they lead to the same place: a greater sense of connection, ease, and self-trust. Whether through structured exploration or deep physical stillness, the journey is always one of coming home to yourself.
